A Brief Introduction
An old proverb in the Hindi language explains that it is possible to suppress all the sins of a person who has either money or knowledge.
Both of these are such massive powers which could help a person to create a desired image in front of society.
But remember that these potencies are tricky to achieve, and to achieve either of them, a lot of hard work and strong determination are required.
Today, we will talk about money.
It has become one of the most essential things for the survival of mankind.
You cannot even think about a single materialistic thing that could be achievable in this present era.
Do you know about its history?
Where and when did it come from?
Why is every person in the world so crazy about money today?
What is the reason that every person is in a race to collect as much money as possible?
Today, we will discuss this topic. Or, you can say we will read a small biography about money.
Importance of Money In Today’s World
You also might have read somewhere that all the religions in the world teach about the cons of money-mindedness.
According to every religion, we as humans should not give importance to money.
As per our priests, the only aim of a living being on earth is not to accumulate wealth.
We are born for some other reason, and that is to attain God through the path of worship.
But to tell you the truth, no religion in the world can survive without money.
Every religion needs money to keep itself alive and grow.
Money has become a necessity in today’s new society.
In today’s era, living without money is unthinkable.
A person needs money to fulfil his daily needs.
The Beginning of Money
Friends, earning money in today’s era is a challenging task. Everyone has to struggle a lot to collect wealth.
Everyone has to work hard to earn money, especially when that money is earned legally.
But, if that money is illegal then it is not that difficult to earn it, but we will not talk about this topic here.
As you know, every country has its currency, and this currency also has different names.
Rupees, Euros, Dollars, and Pounds are a few examples of it.
And I am sure that you will also be aware of the fact that their value is also different in every country.
While there are many ways to trade all over the world today, in the old times this trade was done only through coins.
Be it gold coins, silver or any other metal.
Do you know that about 17000 years ago, there was no trace of money?
There was no such thing as money.
Humans lived in tribes, and their only need was food and water. They used to hunt animals all day long.
Start of A Business
As time passed, man evolved.
His needs increased, and so did his hopes and dreams.
Then, a time came when man learnt about the exchange.
Which, in today’s straightforward language, we can call trade.
For example, if a tribe had a large quantity of animal meat, it would give it to another tribe and, in return, take weapons or something else from them.
This exchange flourished so much that it became a daily habit of man.
Due to this trade, tribes started progressing. Life started becoming better, and man started taking an interest in new things.
It was the beginning of a business.
Boost To Trade
After many years, a time came when man became interested in agriculture.
The man started farming. You can also say that man changed from a hunter to a farmer.
With the change in habits and professions, the means of exchange also started changing.
Now, the exchange of grains has started. Some tribes started giving rice in exchange for wheat, and some started collecting other goods in exchange for different crops.
Some tribes started trading in agricultural tools, and some began trading in animals.
This exchange started developing on a vast scale. However, there was still no trace of currency.
Although it happened excessively and in bulk, it was only to fulfil the needs.
A New Hope
With time, man also changed. Nature has witnessed many changes in humans as well.
The man had developed himself so much that he started keeping a record of the exchanges made.
He started engraving the accounts on clay slates.
The biggest reason for doing this was that this exchange had started happening in large numbers.
And it became confusing many times what was given to whom and what was not.
Many other things had also been added to this trade by now.
Like animal skins so that clothes could be made from them to cover the body.
Even animals like goat, camel and cow milk became part of the trade.
Some tribes started their business with eggs of hens and other egg-laying animals.
Not only animals but women of one tribe were sold to another tribe in exchange for something or other.
And tell you that by now this was being done to fulfill needs.
Human beings have become more intelligent. They started thinking above their basic needs of food and water.
They started planning how to make life easier and more comfortable.
Overcoming The Drawbacks
Time passed, and the human mind started developing a little more.
Man learned a little more about trading.
As he progressed in the journey of business, he stopped exchanging things.
Instead, he started accepting and giving precious stones as a medium to buy or sell something.
The more precious and more significant the stone, the higher the proportion of the thing.
The more precious the stone, the richer the person was considered to be.
It was a prominent change that was going to take a violent form in the future.
Coins of gold, silver, and many other metals came into existence.
It is believed that this practice originated in China about 3000 years ago. Some people also think that this coin system originated in Greece.
In those days, kings and emperors used their names, and these became quite popular.
It was a step towards making society prosperous, but it also attracted many evil activities.
Beatings, thefts, and murders became common among the tribes and societies.
It was because stealing coins was easy, and this was the only source of trade through which a person could fulfill their daily needs.
From here on, a genuine business was established amongst humans.
Add-on For Europe
Now it was the time to bring something more professional and easy to use.
Printed notes came into existence. An easy source to manage.
If we go by the history books, it was also born in China. And it was here that they were first used.
It is said that the use of paper money started in China in the 11th century.
When Mark Polo went to China in the 13th century, he saw these currency notes for the first time, which he liked very much, and after returning from there, he introduced this concept in Europe as well.
And this way, it became famous all over the world.
It took some time for banks to come into vogue.
People started using these banks to avoid theft.
Slowly, the world started becoming a slave of these banks.
From then till today, it is believed that the rich became richer and the poor became poorer.
The whole world joined this race of collecting more and more of this paper also known by a famous name – money.

Conclusion
And today the situation is that both Religion and Karma are slaves of money.
Today, this earth is running on money. People have even started selling God in the pursuit of money.
Not only this, you will be surprised to hear that people are even buying God with the power of money.
When going to any religious place, people put money in the donation box and ask for money only.
Friends,
In the end, I would like to say that money cannot become God, but seeing today’s situation, I would say that money is no less than God.
