Anything that is living or non-living, no matter how great or powerful it is in itself, can never show its qualities without the help of others.
And in a profound sense, this is the awe-inspiring beauty of nature’s interconnectedness.
Nature has not made anyone complete in itself. Maybe that is why nobody is perfect.
Despite our inherent incompleteness without others, we humans often display a sense of pride. It’s a humbling realization.
Just think about what would have happened if we had somehow become competent in ourselves.
And if you look at it, this is also the cycle of life.
Everything is connected with some other thing directly or indirectly.
To illustrate this, I have chosen examples that highlight the mutual dependence in our world.
Interconnectedness of Flowers, Wind and Fragrance.
No matter how much fragrance the flowers have, if there is no wind, the aroma of those flowers will not be known.
The fragrance of flowers travels far on the shoulders of the wind.
The fragrance of sandalwood also makes the entire forest fragrant with the help of the same wind.
And if we look at it from another perspective, a sandalwood tree is known only for its fragrance. If it does not have fragrance, that sandalwood tree will be like any other ordinary tree.
In the same way, if there is no fragrance or aroma in the flowers, then who will give importance to those flowers?
What will the existence of those flowers be?
Whether it is a sandalwood tree or any flower, they need wind to express their greatness.
But the wind is also never fragrant in itself.
It also needs flowers to go to different places and spread fragrance.
Similarly, each needs the support of the other.
If one does not get the effect of the other, then everything will be meaningless.
Herbs And Pharmacognocists-Interconnectedness
Herbs have infinite qualities that are capable of giving us not only health but also a long life.

If no doctor knows the qualities of these herbs and how to use them properly, what is the use?
In this way, the qualities of those herbs will remain in them only. They will never be revealed in the society.
On the other hand, the qualities of doctors are also revealed only because of these herbs.
Now, if a doctor does not have any medicine, what is the use of being a doctor?
In the same way, friends think about anything and notice that if it reveals its qualities, it is affecting someone else.
Instruments And The Muscial Notes
What is their use if musical instruments are lying in a room and there is no one to play them?
They must be played to know which tune comes out of them.
And if there is someone to play musical instruments but there are no instruments, what is the use of that?
Boat And The Boatman
If someone has to cross a river and there are boats but no boatman, then there will be no use, and in the same way, a boatman alone is not capable of helping any traveler to cross the river.
All these examples are perhaps enough to prove that every act done on this earth depends on someone else.
Apart from these, there are many other quotations which prove this point.
There needs to be more than just having seeds to grow a tree. We will also need earth. And the world alone cannot reproduce a tree on its own; it also requires a seed.
It is not possible to become a father of a child without a mother, and one cannot become a mother without a father.
Gautam Buddha also said that every object stands on the support of something else. And if that support is taken away, then the existence of that object will end.
Pen-Down
In conclusion, the interconnectedness of existence is a fundamental truth that we often overlook.
I leave you with a question to ponder: if everything in this world is interdependent, does God, the ultimate entity, also need support?
If you agree with what I have written above, does the concept of a divine being, often referred to as ‘God ‘, need any support in the same way that all other entities in existence do?
